Ralph G. Nader, MD, FSCAI
Dr. Nader is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases, nuclear cardiology, and interventional cardiology. He has been in practice for 23 years as a clinical and interventional cardiologist. He recieved his medical degree with distinction from Northwestern University in Chicago and completed his specialty training at the Boston Beth Israel Hospital of Harvard University and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Nader is currently a Key faculty member in the interventional cardiology training program at the Columbia University Division of Cardiology at Mount Sinai in Miami Beach, FL. Dr. Nader's private practice provides preventative care, screening, and clinical care of the heart. He also performs invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as catheterizations, balloon angioplasties, and stenting. He believes that a healthy lifestyle, assisted by medicine and technology when necessary, can lead to a long and active life.
George R. Marzouka, MD
Dr. Marzouka is board certified in Internal Medicine, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology. He completed his Cardiology fellowship as well as his internal medicine training at the University of Miami and Jackson Memorial Hospitals. He served as the chief cardiovascular fellow in his last year of fellowship and has held voluntary faculty positions at the University of Miami. He currently serves as a member of the American College of Cardiology (ACC) Informatics and Health Information Technology Task Force. He is a non-invasive cardiologist with additional training in advanced cardiac imaging, and he has been presented with numerous awards for his work in outcomes research. The specialized skills and experience that Dr. Marzouka brings to our office will advance our goals of providing you with a comfortable and efficient cardiology consultation and noninvasive assessment.
Dr. Marzouka is immediately available for both in-hospital and outpatient consultations at Mount Sinai Medical Center and Aventura Hospital.
Ranley Desir, MD, FACC
Dr. Ranley Desir is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology. He graduated with high honors from Howard University College of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Miami, and his specialty training in cardiology at the Methodist Hospital of Baylor College of Medicine. His practice is limited to cardiology and focuses on the early recognition of cardiac pathology using non-invasive diagnostic techniques. He has privileges at Mount Sinai Medical Center and Aventura Hospital and Medical Center.
